Long tubes +custom h?
Anybody not go with the h pipe that therelong tubescome with? I dont feel like paying the extra $$$ for it .
I plan on having my stock h cut and fabricated to the long tubes, Im just curious If anybody has done this and how hard it was for them to do. I have a master fabricator doing it(PASCAL) I just wanted to know how difficult it wasand how it sounded.
I have pypes o/r h rightand would like to sell it once i do the headers rather then hacking that up for my custom mid pipe. I looked at the stock h and it looksto be also alot better qaulity then the pypes h and it is one peice not held together by a clamp.......
I have mac axle backs+ o/r-h.....I hope with the LT addition I will be able to hear my exhuast again. I have become ignorant to how loud it is and need more

jesus man... if you cant hear your exhaust you must be hard off hearing. sound to be loud by the parts listed...
anyway, go with the H that you should buy with the long tubes. its much more hassle free and less headaches. and i dont know what pascal is charging you, but it might even be cheaper.

well in some cases the mid pipes are 300 plus, I dont see pascal or any other shop charging me 300 if i show up with my own mid pipe just needs to be cut and fabricated a lil bit.
come on guys theres got to be some of you who did this cause I know the mid pipes are over priced.
ha.. i had to do the same thing considering i bought my o/r pipe without knowing i needed a certain one.. it cost me 150$ to have them cut it and what not.. but i do love the sound. oh and i used my pypes o/r H not my stock one
Off road H pipes run about $200 give or take depending on manufacturer (I assume you're talking about an "off road" pipe sans cats). And they fit right. I also like the modular exhaust that I can swap parts into and out of. I can swap my h-pipe out in about an hour w/catted or off-road and also swap my axle back in and out in about an hour. Very nice.
If someone fabricates your midpipe it will probably have to be welded in and I can't see it running less than $200. Actually thats the best way to do it but personally I like being able to swap it around.
I wish I lived near Pascal. I'd def let him do my work. Sounds like a really nice guy, maybe he'll give you a great deal on the fabbed h-pipe?
