Default Question for Casper98GT (Ford Mechanic)

I read a post where a 2005 Mustang GT's computer was "reflashed to use premium fuel". Doing so is supposed to increase horse power.

Is this a fact? And, if so, how much horse power would be gained by doing this?

Casper, you are 'the man'!

Wow. this is new to me also. Maybe one of them their aftermarket programmers can. ALSO if you chip it you can raise the gasoline requirements. But if you dont use it, ping it will go.... Mine is set to 93 octane or more.
