Now that the IUP has been resolved is anyone having luck getting a build date for their GT order? If so when did you place your order and when is the build date scheduled?

Been six weeks since order and still no clue.

 

ordered mine 11/09. rec'd VIN @ 4 weeks ago. haven't heard a build date yet

 

Good luck with that, I ordered one in January, still no build date, the dealer said he just got one in that was ordered in October.

 

Order date? i just told them what i was looking for about 3 weeks ago "black on black vert. sports package, wheels ect." the second they herd it was comming in i got a call @ 9am was driving it home @ 9:30, and im claimed to be the only blk/blk vert. in town as it stands now

 

Ordered 1/07/05 just got build date for week of 04/04/05 1up, icap, manual, active alarm, wheel upgrade[sm=happybounce.gif]

 

Ordered 2/25 and am still getting "clean/unscheduled" from the hotline.. But with everything I am reading about people who ordered in October are still without a car, I expect to hear this for a while... But who knows with the announcement of the increase in prodiction

 

Ordered 11/10/04. No VIN number, no build date. My dealer told me that they hope to get it in April

05 GT, Mineral Grey, IUP, Shaker 500,.

 

On Feb. 14th we went to one Ford dealer here in town. We were told that Ford wasn't taking ANY orders on the 05 Mustang's we would have to settle for one already on a dealers lot. He check to find the one like wanted and wasn't able to find it any where. He said we could order an 06 but not an 05. This just didn't sound right to us. We went to a different Ford dealer same night who said they would gladly take our order. They said we would have it by middle of April beginning of May. We ordered Torch Red/ Dark Charcoal GT Premium automatic , IUP, side airbag, that night. We received our DORA in a few days. Called the 800 number, it was clean /unscheduled then on Thursday the 17th of this week we were serialized, Friday we had a build week of 4/4. If you are waiting longer than others who have ordered after you, your car isn't being built because your dealer either isn't ordering it or they probably don't have any allocations left. I would say get your deposit back and go to a different dealer.

 

Placed an order for one on January 25 and was told it would be about 8 weeks. Mineral Gray, IUP, manual, side air bags and security. We received a build date of February 28th after a couple weeks, it was built first week of march and we were told last Thursday it was on a railcar and should be here next week.

Next Tuesday is 8 weeks so if the car shows up as planned, Big Phil at Suncoat Ford came through for us.

I order mine in mid-Jan. 1st build date was March 7 2nd build dates was March 14. It was bucked on March 14, completion was March 18 or early in the week of the 21st. Delivery date is set for 4/4.
