My girlfriend is getting my windows tinted tomorrow, but I don't have moleskin installed yet. I plan on getting it in the near future ( as in ordering tomorrow ), but will not have it installed by then. How long do you think I will be ok w/o moleskin before it starts to scratch. Say, if I put it on within a week or two should I be fine? Can moleskin be applied after tint, or is that a bad thing to do?

 

it can be applied after tint, but I have heard of guys on here having scratches after two days...so if you dont put your windows till you get it, you will be golden. That way, you can let the tint set up real nice, and be scratch free.

 

My tint began to scratch 2 or 3 days after I began to put the windows back down. I have a an 06 vert. My advice would be not to put them down til after you get the moleskin put on. Hope this helps.

the tint shop should do it for you. i just got mine tinted last monday and threw the kid $10 and he hooked it up for me. but defenatly dont roll em down till its on.

Do not roll your windows down until you get moleskin or wait until you get it to get your windows tinted otherwise your just wasting your money.
