Supercharger Tune??
Hello Group,
I recently had a Saleen 475 hp Supercharger installed in my 07 Mustang GT. I got a SC tune from Brent at Brenspeed last year (December), and it is for an automatice transmission. At the time Brent worked with Saleen to setup a tune for me. Brent said that after the first of the year there was a possibility of gettinga more agressive tune for the automatics and SC, but I am writing to see if anyone has any imformation on any SC tunes that are on the market. I have both a SCT programmer, and a Predator programmer. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Casper
Also, are computer modules on all 2007 Mustang GT's the same. What I mean is, now that I have a SC, can my friend use one of the tuners I have used on his 2007 Mustang GT, running either tunes frommy SCT or Predator programmers, without sending it in to have it re-programmed. Are they vehicle specific?
Thanks,
Casper

To my knowledge the computers have codes as to the logic they use. So your friend could use your programmer if it had the same logic if not it would have to be sent to someone to modify for his computer. Still cheaper than buying one.
As far as tunes for your S/C car, where do you live? See if there is a good dyno tuner around you. Mail order tunes are good, but nothing beats a real dyno tune.
I plan on running the whipple canned tune after my install for a while but as soon as I save enough money, I am driving over to VMP for a nice conservative dyno tune.
