Congrats on the new "feel"! Every so often I think about returning the car to stock just so I can "re-appreciate" the change when I reinstall the CAI & tune. Then I say "nahhhhhhhhhhh".

There is a port underneath the steering wheel where your tuner plugs in. Trust me, it is so easy to do...just follow th directions on the tuner. Brenspeed has a video showing how to download a tune.

How do you like those Stingers? I'm looking at mufflers for my next mod.

I love the Stingers. They're a good bit louder than stock and really roar at 1/2 or more throttle. They DO drone in the 1500-2000 RPM range and I've become accustomed to it. You don't notice it much with the windows down, though. And my g/f loves how the Stang sounds with them.

Taco Bill did a great write-up in the "How-To" section for the install. It was pretty easy, especially with hishelp for centering the tips in the openings.

OOPS! My apologies to the OP. Didn't mean to hijack...

i ordered my bbk without a tune on friday. hopefully i can get the tune by spring.... where do you install the tune in the car???
I'm not sure it's a good idea to run a CAI without a tune. It puts alot more air into the engine and without retuning the computer it won't automatically add the appropriate amout of fuel. It'll create a lean fuel mixture and you'll probably get alot of detonation. You could cause some damage to the engine. Brenspeed or any other tuner could tell you exactly what it'd do. Remember factory warranty won't cover damage caused by aftermarket parts so use caution.

BBK says the CAI can be used without a tune. but now im thinkin i may just wait until i can install them both at the same time. but i emailed brenspeed and BBK and they said the car should run fine without a tune.
