Default Scraping w/ Eibach pro?

So i just put on my new tires+rims (265/35/18) up front & (285/35/18) in back. It looks good but i'm going to drop her. I was thinking the Eibach pro - kit, but my buddysaid it's going to scrape in the front AND back. Will i be scraping with a CDC classic chin spoiler with the Eibach? If so, I'll be purchasing the Steeda springs, 1 in. drop in front and 1 1/4 in. in the back.

I think my friend is on crack but just would like to check with my mustang family first

Probably the only time the chin spoiler will scrape is on inclines into drievwaysand speed bumps. The rear will not scrape at all. Here is a picture of my car wiht the Pro Kit so you can get an idea of how it will sit.

I have Eibach pro kit and CDC classic chin spoiler. I have not scraped it one time yet. I put some pics to illustrate the clearance (5 3/4 inch at center of spoiler) Also you can kinda see the driveway incline and bottom lip that I drive on without scraping. Hope this helps!

I also have the Eibach Pro Kit.. I am running a 275/35/20 tire in the rear. I have had no problems at all with rubbing / scraping. I am also going to put a CDC classic on my car (just need to get it painted). Make sure you get dampers though. The ride will be rough if you keep the stock shocks on the car.

Pretty sure the law is that speed bumps have to be 4.5 inches or lower. So if you are over that....and you're careful, you should be fine.

I have a GT500 bumper, which is not as low as the CDC, but I have never even come close to scraping anything with the Pro kit

There's no speed bump law that I know of. I have scraped the front a few times going in and out of driveways. It only took a few times for me to get used to going in and out of the driveway. Watch out for pulling up to curbs in parking lot.

I knew my friend didn't know what he was talking about. After all, he does drive a WRX that thinks if his car was RWD he would be pullin wheelies HAHA

thanks guys!!

Your front tires are 25.3" diameter. Stock is around 27.3". The other guys in this thread are close to stock. I don't know if you'll scrape, but the chin's going to be an inch closer to the ground on yours.

good point eric... i did not even look at the diameter of his wheels. I was assuming that he had a situation that was closer to stock. Nonetheless, I dont see a problem with the rear scraping. You might be scraping your chin on some steeper inclines.

Good point Eric -- I'm going to take a tape measure out and see just how low it would be with a 1.5" drop and i'll make my decision from that!
