Finally saved up some money, but man, do i have choices...

1 - LT headers
2 - CAI + Tune
3 - Subs/Speakers/Amp
4 - Chin Spoiler / Ductail





Im leaning towards the headers.. but lets get your opinion. I know alot of people say go with the CAI+Tune, but 93 octane gas is quite the expensive. Oh well.

 

headers need to be down farther on the list.....you havent had your course on "mustang 101"......cai/tune first

 

I vote cold air and tune as well

 

that's right you have to start with CAI+tuner first for engine mods.

 

Does cai+tune really give you 30 rwhp?

 

if you go LT's you are gonna have to get mid pipe too. CAI/tune will get the most performance, but if you are going FI down the line, i would leave out the CAI/tune, bc i changed my CAI 2x and now have decided to go FI soon so those 2 CAI changes were a waste of money but it wasnt much money and i sold the first one so i got some money back and will sell the other one once i get the SC. I would leave out the speakers and appearance mods till later. just my .02

the headers wont give you as much as the cold air / tune. You need some performance mods. If you do get long tubes, get a catted mid pipe, those SLPs will sound terrible without cats

 

You can get the CAI/tune and run the 87 tune and octane. You'll still notice a difference, especially in throttle response.

Supercharger is schedualed in the next 14-15 months, but if cai+tune is giving me 25+ rwhp, id be willing to sacrifice the $600
