Default zone pricing???

Is there such a thing as zone pricing? I live in NY but am looking into a job in another state, Virginia...other then making it easier is there any benefit to buying a car in another state? Cheaper?
I'm having a hard time waiting to buy the darn car but if i can save a few thousand i'd do it! or at least have myself put in an induced coma since i tend to lack control when it comes to mustangs that i owned in the past....

thanks for the input!

What happened to the 07, sounds like it was a nice car.

If the sales tax is lower in VA than in NY then its cheaper to buy and register it there.

You won't be able to save a few thousand from regional differences. There might be small differences based on regional demand but it'll be a few hundred at most.

If you're moving to VA soon and you buy in NY you might have to pay the registration fee twice however.
