Go for the GT. If you get the GT you will never ask yourself if you should have got the V6. Take one of each out for a test drive, I think this will make up your mind.

O and Kara make sure you take the car to a reputable shop to have someone look at it before signing the papers

How is the reliability on them? Or there any common problems in them?

Not only that, but I think the Blue GT with a tan interior is atleast top 3 in terms of interior/exterior color combos on the mustang. In terms of the price, I like going to ebay to see what cars are going for to atleast make sure the price they're asking is good. Here's a good comparison for you. Not sure if the options on the GT that you're looking at is exact, but it'll give you a ballpark. Also, don't be afraid to negotiate down the price.

My personal thought is that price might be a TOUCH on the high side for that many miles, but I could be wrong. I didn't do any used GT price shopping, I got a really good deal on mine when new.

+1 on having it checked out by a reliable mechanic that YOU know and trust.

And yes, these cars have a few issues from the factory, but at alsmot $50k, they have most likely all been worked out by the original owner.

One more thing - don't bother with the extended warranty, you're going to end up modding and void it anyway..
