im in the market for buying new wheels and tires for my car. im looking for the gt500 style chrome. however i have noticed that the 07+ models come equipped with a different kind of tire pressure sensor. has anyone here bought new wheels from some place and have them install the sensor for you? if so then where? also is it a big deal if you dont have the sensor? thanks

I bought some new rims and tires, and as soon as I get time, I'm getting them mounted and balanced, and I'm getting the tire pressure sensors in each tire transferred to the new tires. I bought the bands for this at American Muscle.

I don't want to have to deal with the tire pressure fault codes that randomly appear on the dash if I don't have the sensors. It can be dealt with though. Just press the reset button, and it goes away.....until sometime later.

I have to hit the reset button when I drive my car with the 20" on it. But I drink black coffee and I don't look at heath inspection scores when I eat out.. (I'm not picky )

how much you think a shop would charge to mount and balance my tires if i buy the rims seperate and have my tires transfered over along with the sensor?
