A/F Calculation using SCT Data Logging
sailing, what you got is your rear cat monitors turned off. The rear O2s basically just monitor to make sure the cats are doing their job....working properly. Your front O2s are still working and in control of AFR in closed loop. As far as knowing what the real afr is, you need to get a wide band set-up.

I'm not really concerned with the actual AFR as a number, I just want to figure out if my tune is too rich. How can I figure this out? Are there any physical ways to tell? [/align]
A/F fluctuates too much throughout the rpm range to really "tell" if a tune is too rich or lean without a A/F meter.
Sure the old fashioned way is to pull and check the plugs, the tips of your exhuast, etc.
But I would get a A/F meter.

This is was a big part of why I asked my initial question. I understand that A/F fluctuates a lot, but I'd like to get some kind of usuable reading at idle and then again at WOT. Trying to find out if the SCT will do this for me. I'm really not interested in getting a wide-band set up just for this - at least not yet.
Is there really no other way to do this? Short of a wide-band or dyno shop?
Thanks again!
