really? i have 3.55s? everyone keeps telling me that i have 3.31s and i've just been so confused. i've been getting like 50/50 3.31/3.55. i wish there was like a way to just figure out which gears i really do have without taking it to the mechanic and have him say are you a fukin idiot, it's 3.xx that'll be a sad day.

If it is an 08 manual GT and you have all options you should have 3:55's . If you want to check underneath the car on the rear diff cover there might be a sticker on that cover that says what the gear is. Mine is an 06 GT stick and have 3:55's for now anyway....so many mods so little time! Do you have the original window sticker from the car? it will say on there as well...J

Keep the stock 3.55's and build a little motor. I'd rather have longer legs and a useable 1st gear...it's a much better "ALL AROUND" set up which seems to be what your after. If you're not responding to every 70-120mph douche on the road, you'll get the best of both worlds...
