for manuals only
So you have all heard of bad hair days right? Well some time i have bad shiftings days lol, most of the time i dont think about it and do fine right when i get in the car, then there's those days when i have a lil trouble going smooth through the gears, even stall once or twice he he, PLease tell me i am not the only one!
if it's too early in the morning and my reflexes are smooth enough yet, the ride can be kinda jumpy going into gears. i try to correct myself as soon as i can though because i want my clutch to last lol.
i don't think i've stalled out in a manual in about 8 years though

lol i was in a parking lot once and someone started pulling out infront of me and i was moving and i got scared and put both feet on the brake.. i stalled and felt dumb cause there was a s197 gt right behind me..
Sometimes the thickness of the sole of a pair of shoes can throw me off. I'll try to ease into the gas, and it revs really high. Then I realize I'm wearing some thick-soled Skechers.
My driving is really that fine-tuned. (yeah right! jk)

well, since i've really learned to drive stick, i've only stalled like twice in about5 or so months, one time was pulling out of my school[&:], i gave ita little extra when i pulled out though, so maybe i didnt look so bad

(at least Im only 18 and can still pull it off) I have tried driving in my workout Nikes[:@]...impossible to feel the clutch.
I do stall but the frequency depends on the car I'm driving. In my rice days, I used to stall my Civic a lot, that hydraulic clutch didn't work for me. When I drove a Fiat and Peugeot, both withturbo diesel engine and 6 speed, I never had a problem. So far, I only stalled the GT once backing up but I didn't have a chance to really drive it yet - less than 400 miles...
I was just talking about that with someone. Driving a manual kind of reminds of doing sports. It's an activity of physical skill. You have off days. You still get the job done but you're just a little off, kind of like struggling at the plate in baseball or missing a couple free throws.
