Default Installing Raptor shift light need help

I'm in the process of wiring up my Raptor shift light. I need to hook up the power wire to a switched 12v source. I have my Shaker 500 head unit pulled. Looking for a wiring diagram on the Shaker. Or if somebody knows what color wire on the Shaker harness is switched 12v.

Thanks.

I think you could just use the original 12v socket wire to power that thing? I think that's what is in the original instructions...

Did you try looking at TacoBill's write up for this light (assuming it is the same on you are installing in a similar situation?)

GY / YE wire should do the trick. It is on when the car is on, I used it as my amp turn on lead (which yes, means the amp is one when the car is even if the radio isn't ... couldn't be helped but I have it on another switch)

Thanks for the replies guys. I found pin#2 on the big connector on my Shaker 500 did the trick. It's a solid white wire on 2007's. Just spliced into that wire. Just buttoned it up and took it out for a spin. It works great.

Just wire the 12Vpower lead to the 12V on the coil?
That way all wires terminate within inches of each
other instead of some under the hood and some
under the dash.
