Storing Down Pipe With Cats

Is there anything i need to do to store my factory down pipe with cats. How long will the cats last not being used? I have around 8,000 miles on the cats. Any advice will help. Thanks in advance!

you dont have to smog your car for 4+ years. So lets see where your at by then.

Mine has been in the storage for 3 months.

I'm putting them back on the car in 2 months for inspection.
