Youll be happy with any choice, trust me... I got the Hurst because it was the cheapest and I absolutely love it. It can be 'rough' and notchy at times, but any short shifter can, imo it just feels more race-ish rather than soccer-momish.

People love their steeda's also.

The MGW is the best, and most expensive, so it depends what your budget is.

Trust me man, you'll love whichever one you pick.

Yep - any AM short throw is a nice improvement over stock and a very worthwhile mod. There are dozens of posts on this subject and, having read most of them over the months, I have come to the conclusion that the MGW is the most liked. I have never seen a post stating a problem with it, or someone who didn't like it. I have seen many posts of guys moving from Hurst to MGW. Also I have seen posts of nit-picks with the Tri-Ax and the Pro 5.0, minor stuff though.

If you get one, I would stay with Hurst or MGW.

i have the hurst in my car. it really does shorten up the throw (40% i think) and it makes driving a lot of fun.

the shifter has a "notchy" feel to it. i guess the best way to describe it is that it takes a little more effort to "jam" the car into gear.

I have had 2 Pro 5.0 shifters!

Had one on my 5 speed and that was the first thing I ordered when I did my engine and trans swap. A brand new Pro 5.0 for the 6 speed!

when I was shopping I askedthe opinion ofsomeone who does a lot of hard driving in his mustang on the race circuit and got his opinion. I had it narrowed down to either the steeda spord and the tri-ax. he advised me that the tri-ax is built for hard usage and that the sport would be fine for me.....of course you can see which I went with...just in case, right? anyway I am very happy with it. it started notchy and has loosened up just a tad.love it, can't say a bad thing about it.
