just wanted to know, all my freinds have 1st and 2nd gen rx7, and they got pissed becuase i bought a 05 , i say there just broke, they say their faster, i say lets race, they say no, they dont want to embarres you, i say your all scared, what do you all say

Only thing that has a slight chance, if they are all stock, is the 87 rx7 turbo. And of course it all depends who can drive.

are they modded RX7's? That makes all the difference. 87 still has the twin rotor engine I believe so even the turbo the V6 should be able to beat if it's not heavily modded. They only ran low 15's high 14's. Handling wise, again depending on mods.. I would assume the V6 would get beat on most windy roads, and the v8 probably overcomes the handling deficit with the power even on windy roads.

The V6 Mustang will not beat a turboed RX-7. It will be close but the Mustang is not quite fast enough. At best they would be even stock for stock. The V6 could beat the non turboed RX-7.

What is the 1/4 for a V6 5 speed? The 0-60 is in the 6's right? so thats probably a 14 something 1/4.

No way a 5 speed Mustang V6 has got to hit 14's like a 14.8 or so. Stock for Stock the V6 should definetely beat an 87 Turbo RX7 in the 1/4 mile.
