I think it's funny when people say "I will lose a lot of top end." How fast are you looking to go... Seriously, you can either beat someone to the next light or beat someone to the next state. I chose next light and got 4.10's.
Seriously...

According to the trusty calculator and assuming you have a close to stock tire height.
4.10's at 6000 rpm in an auto puts you at 165 mph give or take. In a manual puts you
at 175 mph or so. I doubt that the stock 300 ponies can pull that off. Maybe going downhill.

Hey everyone. I'm looking to install 4.10 FRPP gears in my automatic 05 gt next week and people are telling me not too cuz u lose a lot of top end. To anyone who has 4.10 gears was it worth the money and is ure top end still good when racing?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
I'm very happy with the improved torque. I like to launch and go through the gears with gusto. Pin you to your seat with umph is what I say!

BTW, I found that the 4.10's were not as big a deal as some made them out to be. No regrets.
