RE: Beat Stangs....
here ya go...everyday i pass by a shelby gt 350 (the old one, not a new one with gt350 stripes on it) sitting under a carport in front of some old POS gas station that hasn't been open in decades probably...now that's just wrong....or the 63 max wedge mopars(street legal drag racers, basically) saw one on a flatbead crushed, headed for the scrap heap[:@]

That's why I finally sold my last classic. I was holding on to a mint 100% original 80k orig miles 71 Cougar vert that I had for 18 years. (pic below) But it sat in the carport and never got driven. I finally decided to let it go, and was very happy that a collector bought it and it's now in Sweden of all places!
The Mustang is just a car, it's no more "special" than a CivicjustMUCH betterlooking!Nothing wrong with loving it and taken care of it and personalizing it, but dont' lose track - it's just transportation - they've made plenty and will make plenty more. [/align]

eh, good to see you have such a passion for a serious monitary investment you have made, as we all likely do here. But it is a car, and it is mean to be driven, not sit in a garage for its life. Taking care of it definetly shows respect and appreciation, and I am annoyed by people who dont care enough to maintain their car, but in the end, its theirs. I know how I feel about maintaining mine, and that is that.
However, this is not S197 tech, and should be in OT.
