Default Just called BMR about greasing the poly bushings...

They said you can use any grease, it does NOT need to be silicone. It can't have any petroleum though, as it will ruin the bushings. They also said you don't need to change the fittings every oil change to regrease it. I know I had read these questions on a few forums, so I called to clear it up as I'm finishing the install on my suspension tonight and wanted to get it right.

I used some grease from AutoZone. I hope I bought the right kind for my BMR pieces.

I bought the Mobil One Synthetic (Black Cap) because my auto zone didn't have silicone. I don't have the tube right in front of me because I'm at work but BMR said as long as it's fully synthetic and containsno petroleumit's safe. I have to double check when I get home to make sure it has no petroleum in it.I wanted to call BMR and make sure, because I heard people say that it can ONLY be silicone and that others leak or ruin the bushings.

The silicone grease is thick and has a high tack along
with waterproof/washoff qualitys. Thats what it has over
synthetic grease.
