I currently drive a 05 Ford mustang V6..Ive put tons of goodies into my car such as california special front bumper, gt rocker panels, gt rear bumper, 17' black rims, limo tint, dual pypes dual exhaust w/ H-pipe, black front turn signals.Your probably by now thinking why spend all that money if you just could of bought a gt..Well my reason is that i didnt want to buy a car marked $10,000 over the msrp..i bought my car right when the mustang just hit the lot and i could not wait..Well am again in the market and going to buy a new mustang this time a V8. Ive narrowed it down to a roush or a shelby gt...One is a 2005 roush mustang stage 1 with 23 miles and the other is a 2007 shelby gt-white with grey racing stripes..Which is a better choice? Ive been tons of research on both cars. They both have the looks but the shelby has the suspension and a tune vs the roush which is just a roush kit w/ roush leather inserts. Btw the shelby is not being marked up and i could get a great deal on both cars...I have until saturday to make my decision.. help me guys

 

I like both...But for some reason i love the way the roush looks! So for me if i had to choose i would do the roush this way you could mod it vs. where the shelby is kinda made to keep stop to hold its value. Do you want a new style mustang cuz if you got the money i would think about a 04 cobra. They look sweet and make alot of power stock.

 

i love the new style, my cousin husband told me the same thing and get an 03-04 terminator cobra...

 

Im going to be selling my car in about a year or so to get a 03-04 cobra haha. They look better imo, sound better, alot easier to mod and i drove one last week and let me tell you...Its the best mustang i ever drove. Just something to think about.

y a roush over a shelby gt?

 

If you want to mod it a roush. If you want to leave it stock a shelby GT. A shelby is more of a car you dont mod you hold onto keep low miles so the value stays high on it.

 

probably the only thing i would do to the shelby would be tint the windows, headers,,, roush tint, headers, probably new tune lower the car for now

 

I would seriously go with the roush. This way you can do w/e you want to it without hurting the value of the car
