I have to vote for the matte black since that is what I am planning. I originally was looking at the BSM stripes, only because I thought they might hold up better than a flat paint if I accidentaly got wax on them? I read though, that you are not suppose to get wax on the matte black tape either and I also found several people who hadstaining issues (spots). Since I do my own paint work, it would be cheaper for me to go that route. In all my years, I don't recall ever painting anything substancial that was a flat finish (not on purpose anyway) so I am a little lost as to what paint to useor how well that would work as far as looks and durability? I've been searching online for a durable paint with the proper uv protectants and I have onlyrun acrossinformation on the Dupont brand Hot Rod Black, which seems to be a little more of a satin finish than I would like (at least it looks that way from pics I've seen online?) ...............maybe some of the guys who actually make living doing this may have some paint selection opinions..............Pascal?

Anyway, I don't mean to steal the thread..............matte black all the way.........as long as you can keep it looking good.
