You can get the Saleen ones or the factory ones for the price mentioned above or you can get aftermarket ones for 250 or so from Stangmods.com and even though they might not look as good as the Saleen ones, but most likely they won't give you problems. Above the HID fogs, I heard that there's a little piece inside the fog lamp assembly that falls off and it's almost impossible to get it out if you switch to a different temperature light bulb. Even people who used non-HID silverstars mentioned it on this forum. I would stick with the stock ones because I don't think my fog lights falling apart is a good idea. JMO

 

Don't even consider anything other than factory or Saleen. The aftermarket stuff is a complete joke. Avoid at all costs.

 

You'll care when you have a head on collision because you have the wronghousing/reflector for HID'sand the glare you are emitting blinds the person driving the car comming towards you.

 

Someone said the saleen look better then the Ford OEM HID's ? I would like to hear more?

HIDS from the factory or the Saleen ones. dont get any otheres. they will look cheesy.

 

I have aftermarket on my eclipse and my husbands mustang. I also had aftermarket ones on my 06 civic si and had no problems and they were much brighter than my stock ones I have now on my GT/CS.
Most people that are so against the aftermarket HID's, either 1. had a bad experience, 2.heard about other peoples bad experiences or arent smart enough to install them correctly( this in most cases is the reason behind reasons 1 and 2)
As for the legal issue......HAHAHAHA....thats a joke. Anything not stock on your vehicle in the state of VA is considered illegal.

you get the whole housing with the $800 kit if i'm not mistaken and feel alot dumber for spending that money so foolishly. spend $500 on a tuner and a CAI/ $150 on HID / $150 for beer. and feel beter about yourself.

i highly encourage anyone looking at HIDS to buy them from eBay $130 for a bi-xenon kit.
