Definitely ebay it on these

 

Factory/Saleen you get a HID designed complete headlight assembly. The stangmod/ebay you get a D2S rebased bulb that was never designed to be in a reflector housing. Also, the rebased bulbs arent designed for each application. Do a little research D2R (ebay kits) are for reflector and D2S are for Projectors. I'm not sure why so many people cheap out on things for ther cars. If your going to do it do it right.

 

yea really 800 on some hids is DUMB

 

No! dumb is installing a part in/on my car that wasnt designed for it. Would you purchase a generic CAI off ebay for your car? Also, I only paid $120 for the 2008 ford factory HID housings/lights. So I paid less than most of the peole that purchase a generic HID kit for their cars. dumb?

 

I have the stock HID's and dont like them nearly as much as my aftermarket one's. Kinda wish mine didnt come with them so I coulda gone aftermarket.

 

You can still go aftermarket if you want. Just buy a D1R or D1S kit...the lights you have already have the correct shielding. What dont you like about stock HIDS?
