I am gettign a 2008 mustang GT but I can not find it with the HID headlamps in the way I want it.


How much would an HID upgrade cost after I get the car???

Also same thing for the fog lights

get factory HIDs or Saleen or forget it... Dont put HIDs in the fogs.... just my opinion but really...dont

 

Saleen HID upgrade is $800. I ordered from HCM last week.

 

Mine came factory with the HID's , but my husband got his aftermarket and has never had a problem with them. I like his better cause they are alot brighter than mine. I think his cost a lil over 200.

u dont need 4 HID light in the front,one day on my way home,I got pulled over,the officer said my fog lights r too bright...but it came like that,he didn't give me ticket for da...

 

Then I guess I need to get used to the "killer" look of blue headlights and yellow fogs...NOT!! LOL uhm...I think that you need the 4 to complete the look...but dont get mad! Its only my humble opinion

Well if you go aftermarket I would say definitley go 4000K... The blue looks cool but isn't as bright, and looks terrible with the stock fogs. And you should not have 4 HIDs up front, so it should be out of the question. Listen, I have stangmods 6000K in my car right now, and I went through a crapload of trouble sending kits back and forth, getting new ballasts etc. and they were great about it... But now that it is all said and done, I don't want blue lights on my Mustang GT, its not right.

This is my opinion like I said, do what you want but I really regret the little phase I went through when I wanted these.
