Weird Situation with Gear Install

Weird Situation with Gear Install
So last week I posted about my 3.73's and Spyder Shaft finally getting in the car, I also ranted about how loud they were, even drowning out the radio both on accel and decel. So it weighed on me and I went ahead and scheduled a return appointment.
So the appointment is tomorrow morning and I was to drop of the car this evening before work. So I went and picked up the car, and I realised I never retuned the computer for the new gears, so I hooked up my brenspeed xcal2 and went at it, reworked the settings and set it up for 3.73, and away I went. Immediately I noticed it was not loud at all anylonger, actually sounded normal like my original gears were in there. So I'm like wtf is going on here. I decided well I hit it on the highway quick before I take it in. The weird thing it was like a different experience all together, I have a slight whine on decel but not near what it was last week.
Called the MO-Canic and told him what transpired and he was like Hrmm as well. So whatever happened worked for now, I cancelled the appointment anyway weather bullsheet, but I'll put my 500 miles on it and then get the fluild changed to the synthetic and we'll see where I'm at then. But I'm very relieved for now, and I'm not sure if it is a Quincidance or if the new rear and the wrong settings make noise. I'm not goign to revert to stock to find out, I'm a firm believer in if it's working dont' F@!# with it.
So was just wondering if anyone else had this experience??

RE: Weird Situation with Gear Install
I thought for sure i remember reading a thread about your situation. Someone had purchased new gears, but instead of gear whine he felt as if the gears were never there. Im pretty sure he recieved a new tune with the gears programmed in and he right away felt a difference. If i find that thread i will post it up.

If you find that please do, I mean I know the programer only resets the Speedo, but I'm telling ya as I sit here typing this, I'm suprised, and relieved thus far.
Thanks Again
