Default trailer hitch on 05?

The specs say the 05 is rated for a class 1 hitch, which has a pretty low tongue weight. Anyone try to pull anything? I have a big 3 seater jetski. I think the tongue weight is just over the limit and may have to shift the trailer tires up a little to get it under 40lbs. I'm used to using a class 2 hitch...

The hitch receiver better be detachable tho cuz there's no way I'm driving around with a ball on the back of a stang.

That makes no sense since I'm single, I'm always moving a lot, I rent, and now I have a jetski to store unless I can get the landlords to let me use up a parking spot for my jetski. Is there something about using a V8 Mustang to put a jetski in and out of the water? I'm even buying a silver Mustang to match the silver Polaris jetski.

I am surprised it is rated so low...

A strong frame... 300 HP V8.... shouldn't have any problem pullin a Jetski..

I'm planning on putting a hitch on mine to pull my motorcycle(s) to FL now and again.

Well then make sure you also get the luggage rack ro replace your spoiler.

Oh and dont forget to install a ski rack for the top.

While your are it you can install a CB with one of those really long whip antennaes... oh with a tennis ball on it too.

Make sure that you have good insurance on it, cause you know how your neighbors in the trailer park are...

I was suprised too -- the curb weight is heavier than my Alero (Grand Am clone), and that's got a class 2 on it. Must be hard to bolt a hitch back there with all that funky RWD junk.

Sorry I seem to be afflicted with assholeitus-splediferious. I have sought treatment, which tends to work, until I see some stupid crap going on and then I have relapses...

I wish that I wasn't so stricken, but alas the post right above this one seems to have triggered another attack...[X(]
