Default Got a Question for replacing Leather Seats

So far the only promising website I have come across in replacing your 05+ Leather interior is http://www.leatherseats.com/Mustang_leather_kit.aspBasically I have the Dark Charcoal Leather interior for my 08 GT Vista blue mustang and would really like to get the Dark Charcoal accented with Blue. But I haven't been able to find anything really promising. I have never ripped out leather interior to replace it with something else and this site posted above is exactly for that purpose. I am very much into doing things myself but replacing the leather interior is not something I am comfortable with. If anyone has any information as to getting replacement leather seats please POST. Thanks.

this looks like a good site.

I've always wanted the GT500 seats in mine with the charcoal/dove seat covers that they dont offer on them

That would be Katzkin! You can also get new seats and not just covers. None of the covers fit like OEM. The Katzkin look good, but tend to be loose in the centers. All of the major companies such as RECARO, Corbeau, Subesports, all have seats that can be customized with colors of your choice.

If you do decide to recover them, and get your old stuff off in one piece. Let me know, I may be interested in buying your factory leather covers for the right price

Me too.

BTW. I replaced the leather seats in my F150 with some I got off Ebay and they came out very nice. It wasn't a terrible job. You just can't be bashful with it. It will take some tugging and pushing to get them on smooth. They need to have a tight fit.

I haven't had a chance to check out Katzkin or RECARO, Corbeau, Subesports. But thanks to you guys I definitely have a lot more to work with and will be checking them out. I think it would be much easier to just replace the seats! I have never attempted to do anything like this before...even with my previous mustang. I also stumbled on this site as well.
http://mrt-direct.com/concept/appearance/2005+/interior.php Final Note: I won't be able to do this project anytime soon cause I am still in the beaches of iraq when I would much rather be in the beaches of some beautiful exzotic place drinking bourbon straight from the bottle. But thanks again for the input. You all ROCK!!
