Default AM Chrome Tail Light Trim

I just purchased the chrome tail light trim offered by American Muscle for my '08 Candy Apple GT. They came in yesterday, and it appears as though they're made out of a cheap plastic. Does anyone have any expierence with these? Is the "chrome" going to start chipping off in a couple of months?

All those chrome (and black) tail light trim pieces look cheap.

I think they add a nice touch to the neo-retro design. It's not like adding chrome for the sake of adding chrome. They match the finish of the faux gas cap. I just want to know if these are going to withstand the test of time, or if I should try to return them and buy something else.

I've had mine on over a year now and they still are holding up.

Not sure if they are the same ones but the ones I have on are the street scene bezels and they look great!

Well, I have them installed on my car and they look awsome, not "cheap" at all. Mine are polished SS, which I think adds a nice contemporary, retro look.[sm=loser.gif]
