RE: New Steeda Shifter Handle
thank you for replacing your old shifter! i didn't want to say anything negative, but christ that thing was terrible! [:-]i know a lot of folks like it, but it looks obscene to me [&:]. anyway, the new steeda looks excellent! great choice!
and a word of advice - i have the pro 5.0 shifter which is also aluminum, thus tranferring a good deal of tranny noise. to help eliminate this somewhat, i wrapped the lower portion of the arm (the part that gets covered by the rubber boot) with some dynamat. the dynamat does cover up the bolts, so that's a downside, but they shouldn't come loose with the lock washers and the locktite on there. either way, the dynamat is easy enough to pull back off if need be. so, you might want to give it a try - i noticed an improvement.

RE: New Steeda Shifter Handle
Thanks! I might try that.
Yeah, I know some people thought the cylindrical **** was "weird". To me, it seemed like it belonged in a F150 FX4 with the center console shifter. I'm very happy with the new one!
