ORIGINAL: ThumperMX113

To perform a power shift, keep the gas pedal on the floor (instead of lifting) while pushing in the clutch. At the same time, quickly shift to the next gear. Quickly re-engage ("pop") the clutch as soon as the new gear is selected.
I'm assuming if you aren't fast about that then engine goes boom yes?

No, most likely not. You'll just bump the rev limitor. If you are FI, then you may want to be more careful as the likely-hood of BOOM is much greater. You'll know if you missed the gear and quickly get off the gas, it's a pretty natural reaction. It's really not that hard, everyone will be tenative at first, but that feeling will quickly go away.

I used to powershift with the stock clutch, now i have a spec stage 3 + and for some reason when i go to power shift the clutch gets stuck to the floor its not a hydralic issuse its the fingers and the pressure plate getting stuck down, i find that shifting regular is fine in my case cause with this clutch is just grabs and goes. idk if this is right maybe ill contact spec and ask them, cause when it gets stuck down it wont come back up till im off the gas and the rpms drop below 6000rpm
