I got them the first time and had to send them back because of a small manufacturing defect. I waited almost 3 months. Worth it.

I love the, and you are doing the right thing to get them pre-painted. Also check with a glass shop to get them installed. I was quoted $80.00 for the job which seams pretty good. I also heard that a guy just busted out his glass and put them in without removing the rear interior. I wouldn't sugest that you dothat, kept my glass just for the value. The installer thought he would keep it and sell it as a take off but I said I don't think so.

good luck

thanks for your input, epimetheus. i'm glad you didn't have any after thoughts about your purchase, as your name might suggest .and if a shop quotes me around $80, i'm definitely doing it - the price of just the install materials from shr is almost that much.

and kara, i'll post pics as soon as they're installed, though it looks like that won't be till april if the quoted turnaround time at shr is accurate.

Why wouldnt you suggest busting out the windows? Im buying thelouvers and not ever planning on install the windows again.
please explain what your reasonis for not just breaking the window.
