I don't know, I wouldn't even think of it. Just the thought of chains slapping around that close to the fenderwells scares me.

I would never run chains, snow tires are the best bet.

Well, believe it or not, after 25 feet of snow this year, I actually ordered a set of the z bar cable chains. Nothing more low profile than the ones I got. They fit the wheel wells nicely and did not rub the sheet metal. The issue is they will hit the shock/sway bar bracketon the inside. I saw this as I rolled the car by hand in the garage checking for clearance. So, it can't be done. Sent em back.

If I lived in an area where it snowed, my solution would be a beater car. Mustangs are not meant for snow.
