my only disappointment is that you have to put the key in the "on" position and then put the clutch down then push the button. wish there was a way to just start the car with a push of a button. it'd be nice. manuals...love em just no fun with buttons...except for tcs OFF mode. haha

here's the article on how to install.

http://www.cherod.com/mustang/HowTo/Start%20Button3.htm

an added advantage to the start button is that if you connect it as instructed in the article, you pan provide power to all of our accessories for a few minutes just by pushing the button without the key in the ignition. This will allow you to raise/lower the windows, listen to music, put the top up/down, eject a CD, etc without having to get the keys. This has come in handy many times while in the garage with the keys in the house.

I've got one of these push button switches being delivered tomorrow. It has the wiring harness connections on it, so they say. I'll let the forum know how this one goes.

I think the only way i'd do it is if I no longer needed a key. IMO if someone is going to steal my car, I'd rather them do it without tearing apart my column anyway. Maybe have it so when you tap the button it is like 3/4 turn, but hold to start. Just a thought.
