BTW, it's not a bright light. You won't see it during the day but at night when everything is dark, it will glow. The current draw is not enough to drain the battery. Mine is always on and I can leave the car untouched for 2-3 weeks at a time with no problems.

This is a totally functional appearance mod. IT is more functional then the shifter ***** and billet trim and gives you just as much horsepower.

To me, the most value comes out of it when you do not have the key. It's really nice to be able to put the top or the windows up/down without having to use the keys. Just push the button. Also, I can leave my daughterllisten to music whie waiting for me without having to leave the keys in the ignition. This is a real plus.

Cool factor=10
Still have to put the keys in=1
Did you want your car to have zero security then? Oh, and I don't know if you've tried, but trying to steer without a key in the hole is, let's say, challenging

If you want an intelligent button operated keyless ignition system I'm sure mercedes or BMW would love to sell you one for about $2k
That was my whole point..... it looks cool but if you have to turn the key 3/4's of the way then why not just finish and start it rather then turn then push. too much movement just to start a car. but again it has a cool factor thats all

might as well ban the search button.

if you want a real start button, you just gotta get those race-track spec starter switches.

with all the *****, switches, and buttons you could ever ask for.
