ha.... open trunk..., pull up carpet, look in.

then take out your tire pressure guage and air compressor, cuz I guarentee its way low
Wait; I have those things too? hah.

I went and bought a tire pressure gauge when my 'stang yelled at me for low tire pressure, then proceeded to pay like $3.00 at the gas station to be able to get air into my tires. lol; it was all already in my stang? D'OH!!!
no the stang doesn't come with those... I was just saying because I do a lot of projects I have an air compressor in my garage, and that is how I fill up my tires. The smaller ones aren't that expensive, and if you get a couple nail guns, tire filling attachments and blow gun attatchments they are very convienent to have.

you guys are crazy taking out your spares. Something that is out of sight, and its not even that heavy.
37lbs imo. Ouch.
Sway bars are next... Maybe the padding under the carpet too... I'll shed a couple hundred pounds out of this car if it kills me... Every 100 lbs is about a tenth in the 1/4....

most gas stations ive been to will give you a little remote box if you ask for air and it just has a button you push to turn it on.

It is weight saving I see as for the track only. I removed it once only for daily driving later that night I had a flat around 65 miles from my house so I had to pay $40 bucks to my brother so that he would bring me the spare. Not to mention it has never been removed again lol.

If youre really obsessed with weight...

I saved:

10 lbs with Steeda radiator support
65lbs with 2 forza racing seats
Approx 10lbs with SLP loudmouths instead of mufflers
33lbs with lightweight DS
5lbs aftermarket shorty headers
5lbs underhood lining gone
And a bit of weight from aftermarket LCAs,UCA, panhard, panhard brace and swaybars

So yeah, its possible....

Have not removed spare yet. I try to be practical in life. But its tempting.

And for the guy who said people can lose 37lbs off their body.... I weigh 150lbs. And recently I had 30lbs of dog food in the trunk. And I couldnt believe how sluggish the car felt. Maybe it was all in my head but it was noticeable... I need to get down to 120lbs if all goes well imo.

foreal, i hope you're short, cuz 170 on a 6'3' guy is lanky as fu_k. just imagine 120 on a 6'3', talk about getting close to 3rd world country status, but really tall.
