you should have zero problems doing a burnout in a gt, even John Force style...

Even then.. the v6s can do really smoky burnouts.. after all.. they have a decent amount of power.. that only has to spin one tire..

ORIGINAL: 06Redfire3V

if you can't do a burnout with the TCS off then: [&:]

1. You either can't drive (sorry not tryin to be mean lol) or don't know how to do a burnout.
2. You really bought an 08 v6 Mustang with GT symbols
3. Your car is just effed up

I know what he is talking about...maybe like at asmall roll. I roll out a little and stab it and it
def wont turn the tires over. Then again I'm running 295/30/20's out back [:'(]
I think I'm going to to a CAI and a tune myself.

my stock 08 gt five speed can do burnouts no problem. it even loves to burn some rubber with tc on from a stop sign. just rev it up a bit and dump and go.

My stock 2007 GT will brake tires loose on 1st gear just by leaning the loud pedal to the floor from 2000RPM. I can chirp the tires on 3rd too.

I also can get my 08 to chirp in third also. I have taken off in first and then just hammered it in 2nd and put it sideways. It was a little wet. But, hey, that is power to me. I love it. I never turn off the tcs and I chirp them when I get on it.

Yeah something is f'd up with your car. Even before any modding begins you should easily burnout 1st and a decent amount in 2nd gear and a good chirp into 3rd. At least that was my experience

Yeah something definitely sounds ****** up.....Even before i got my CAI and tunes i could do burnouts easy thru 1st and 2nd......With a stock GT and a 5spd manual you should even be able to at least chirp the tires with the TCS left on from a dead stop...Oh and the thing about most V6s only being able to to a right rear tire burnout is they have an open differential where as all the GTs and the GT500 have the limited slip differentials.
