I e-mailed Midwest Auto Gear www.midwestautogear.com and here is their response on when the covers will be shipped.
They said they will sell the balance of covers they have on EBAY only. So if you want one now rather than wait a couple of weeks you have to get the ones on the auction.
The Auction also includes a FREE Cover once their Injection molded ones are ready.

We made a limited number of the Fiberglass covers that we are selling only on EBAY.
The Auction on Ebay is for a Fiberglass Cover That will ship right after the Auction and a Free Molded Cover once they are available in several weeks.
Fiberglass Covers will not be available once we are molding production covers.

A injection mold is going to be completed in about 2 weeks with molded parts ready to ship end of April.
The material that the parts will be molded from is a Automotive Grade Glass filled Nylon able to withstand high temperature above 300F.

Price is $129.95 for standard colors, which are Silver or Black, and comes with or without the GT Logo.

Two Tone Colors $100.00 ADD ON this is up to 3-week lead time
In the future we will also be offering the covers with Special Emblems in place of the GT Logo These will be at additional cost.

We will email everyone that has contacted us when the molded parts are ready and supply ordering information at that time.

 

I have been kinda following this thread over there too. Was considering getting in on the group buy because they were talking about a price break...then the price break turned in to barely a crack. Having a hard time paying that much for a non performance under the hood mod.

Now if he would sell them for $50 I would be all over it
