What are you trying to do? Usually, one would remove the neg termal first to cut down on an arc.

i did that, I'm just trying to clean the terminals because the positive one is corroded enough to look like it has brigh blue-green moss on it, and i want to clean it thoroughly

Well, a wire brush works well or one of those twisty terminal cleaners. I use baking soda in water or a little Coke on the terminal to neutralize any acid.

I can't remember if you have to remove both bolts or just one but then it should just slide off.

Interesting. Whenever I've had difficult ones in the past I twist it side to side a whole lot to losen the clamp up and it will eventually work its way up. Give that a whirl because I think once both clamps are undone, it is ready to come off.

i did try that, as it has worked for me in the past (not on the stang, though)

maybe I'll be a jackass and take it to the dealer and have them do it? i mean, i did nothing to make the terminal do this...

but I don't wanna be the "change my battery for me, and also armorall my dash because I'm lazy" guy

LOL, I got nothing man. Try prying it up with something? Either that or take it in and let them break it.
