RE: dip stick

I'm guessing here... but he probably bought one of those aftermarket bling dipstick handles which requires you to reuse all of the OEM dipstick, expect the yellow ring handle. You have to remove the OEM yellow ring and re-attach the aftermarket handle to the OEM 'stick'.

Those come with instructions. The dipstick handle that MGW sells requires you to saw off part of the ring portion of the OEM handle, and then the MGW pieces fits over the remainer. But his original question didn't ask about the handle or the entire dipstick tube and housing. Nevertheless, I sure hope he asked his question for a legitimate reason...like header installation as mentioned above. I feel for a person who owns a car and doesn't know how to check his/her own oil, but I seriously doubt that's the case here. There's GOTTA be a valid reason, and I hope he returns to enlighten us. Hell, maybe we all might learn something cool from his reason!

RE: dip stick
yeah i was putting headers on and i was asking how to remove the whole thing that way i could put the headers on. i figured it out and the headers sound great thanks to those who didnt think i was an idiot and new what i was talking about
the headers, unlike the stock ones are connected and i needed to take the dipstick out and didnt want to break it by just yanking on it
