How much dynamat is enough?

RE: How much dynamat is enough?
It really depends on how you cut it and how its applied.
Its not like painting where you can pre figure the amount
of paint needed.

RE: How much dynamat is enough?
Just depends on what your looking for, if you just want some high powered door speakers and less vibration then the door is enough. If you want to reduce cabin noise then some other areas will be neccasary. A little google research will yeild a lot, some area's are far more effective than others to dynamat, for instance the roof yields more effectiveness since there is next to no sound deadening beneath the headliner, but the floor has quite a bit between the factory carpeting and factory sound deadening (though its no where near dynamat effective). Doors will be more effective than the rear passenger compartment etc. Whats your goal?
