go ahead and call the local ER, and tell them you decided to endanger a passenger's life...then get Jonny Cochran!
Endanger a passengers life? He's putting it back in! He's just looking for help on how to properly take it out so he doesn't blow it off by doing it....

1. I'm not taking it out, I'm changing my panels
2. Jonny Cochran passed away years ago

I just did mine like a month ago, just make sure the battery is disconnected for like 15 minutes. It's not that difficult, drop the glove box first though, makes it that much easier. Should be 4 screws for the glove box, then 2 screws for the airbag. Disconnect the harness, then push the airbag assembly out, there are a bunch of tabs so it will take some force. Don't pull on the dash trim, make sure you push from inside the dash so you don't damage the aluminum trim. It's easy.

Ford installed an automatic release for the passenger side air bag. The switch is mounted in the front bumper. If you hit the bumper hard enough into something solid, the air bag will pop out all by itself!

Thanks for the info but I just finished the swap and everything went smoothly, minus when I took out my airbag and it hit me in the head and cut my finger open, I didn't realize how much weight it had to it. Lesson well learned [:'(]
