Anyone who installed the SHR Flush Louvers...
Is the louver supposed to sink in a little bit when it's installed? Because mine doesn't completely follow the lines of the quarter window and sinks in a little bit. Only way for it to stay perfectly aligned with the window so there is no dent, is to pull it out a little but the glue won't stick than...
Am I doing it right?

I'd recommend contacting Marcello @ SHR... he has always stood behind his products and is very responsive to product/installation questions. I have 4 of his products and have to say all are top quality and he has provided install insights on each.

You have to use a very dense (High viscosity) Urethane adhesive and lay duct tape along the top edge to hold it in place until it sets.Otherwise the urethane bead will sag and the Louvre moves inward and down.

When I installed mine I had to use a lot of the urethane adhesive then pushed it flush with the car. I used a couple pieces of masking tape to hold it in place until it dried.

You need a very thick bead of sealant, and it doesn't hurt to keep the original spacers. The louvers are laser scanned of the OEM glass and are of the same thickness. If you'll look at the glass prior to removal you'll notice that it doesn't sit flush either. By using a thick bead, and the OEM spacers I was able to have mine sit flush.

Mine are as close to flush as the stock windows. I had my Ford dealer install them. As stated, you just need a thick bead and masking tape to keep them in place.
