I bought a brand new Ford remote fob for $25.00 and a new un-cut Ford key for $12.00. I got both of them on ebay. I had the key cut at the local Ace Hardware and then I programmed the key and remote as per the owners manual. It was very easy and they both work perfect. You need 2 keys to program a third so that's why I got the extra. Now I have 3 keys and 3 remotes and no worries.

I bought 2 extra key fobs when I bought my car, I now have 4 total, you can program up to 6, I also installed this.
punch in a 5 digit code and your doors unlock, within 3 seconds push the 5/6 button and you trunk unlocks.

key then you'll have to have the dealer program another key.

Two programmed keys required to program more.
How would you like anyone who has access to one
of your stang keys be able to program the PCM
to accept more like valets and such. 2 keys needed.
eBay is the source for PATS keys and OEM key fobs
for cheap. $12 for the fobs and keys are 2/$20.
