Default RE: Difference between X and H pipes?

Million threads on this but since your still kinda new i wont flame ya.

X-Pipe= Raspy sound/Higher pitch sound, Adds HP
H-Pipe= Deep muscle car sound, Does not add really any hp

Keep in mind if you go with a o/r x or h you will gain hp because you are getting rid of the cats.

I love the sound of my exhaust. I get nothing but compliments on it. I think the borla headers are one of the best sets around. I picked mine up from summitracing.com for $1,182.00 and that includes the Borla Longtubes & the Borla shorty o/r x-pipe. All stainless steel. I suggest that if your going to do longtubes in the future do not do a mid-pipe now because you will just have to buy a new one when you do longtubes. Best bet is to buy the kit i got and call it a day.
