17x10.5 wheels with 315/35/17 (nitto DR) on em. they were used on the 00-04 generation gt.

I wouldn't do it, especially being lowered. They will most definitely stick out quite a bit. Since you're lowered, when you take off, it'll most likely rub the fender. They would also not be kind to your paint. And that's a very heavy wheel if you're wanting it for drag racing. I went with 17x9's from American Muscle. Still not the lightest thing in the world, but they'll do the trick. If you're lowered at all, you really don't want to the wheels/tires sticking out.

 

Yeah they would fit but look terrible IMO. They will stick out like a sore thumb lol

 

i have 17x9 cobra rs with 255/50/17 tires for winter wheels, they are 10 lbs lighter a piece than the 285/40/18 gt500s for the summer......huge difference
