I know for sure that i would beat on it a little if i got the chance to drive it. I mean it is a V8 and a pretty beefy one at that, its not like some Honda or POS 4 banger that cant handle some abuse.
At what.. $50k MSRP and most likely a $10k or more markup I would rather just get a GT500. Better value, more power, and less of a chance the engine blows up since its larger and dosen't use gimmicks.
Yes, the 427R is nice but I find it hard to beleieve it or any other tuner is worth more then a GT500.
wheni launched it a couple of times, i ripped through first gear like a raped ape, then slammed second and the squealing of the rear meats was there until redline in second. by third gear i finally had some grip and it just took off!!!
I'll keep an eye out and avoid #7 if i ever look to buy a 427R. Thanks for the warning.
so the owner of this dealership lets his employees take trade-in mustangs out and drive the crap out them and add more miles to them, seems like money down the drain to me.
Almost every 427R owners and hell saleen extreme owners I've met have been old guys. Hell even my niegbors that own GT500's around here one is in his 50's, the other is a 60 year old man. I'd buy one in a minute if that was what I wanted..
