How do I remove the window wipers?
I mean the whole unit, not just the blades. I need to remove them to install my CDC nozzle removal kit and the kit suggests using a hammer but I can't get to it due to the hood. I tried pulling but it won't budge...
I know exactly what you are talking about. I removed mine from my Roush due to not driving in rain. I could not get mine to budge at first either.
I went to the parts store and got a small gear puller. Still did not want to move. So I loaded up the gear puller with a fair amount of force and then took a heat gun and heated the wiper arm where it surrounds the shaft. After about 20 seconds of heating it popped. Just lift it off at that point.
Seems others have had a much easier time than me, but mine were a bear. Good Luck.

There used to be a clip you had to push to release them. Even after doing that. they were stuck on good sometimes. Don't know about these but something has to keep them on besides a tapered shaft.
