I have this problem every once in a while. It only seems to occur at a couple of the stations I visit. One is a nice newer Marathon station, Its a crap shoot in that station. One time I was in there and I couldn't even get gas to go in the car. I had to switch pumps and it was even difficult. Unfortunately I can't remember where else it happened to me.

I thought about taking it in but I figured they wouldn't be able to recreate the problem and just look at me funny so I haven't done anything about it.

when i have the problem ill get maby 8 gallons in and then it well spew some out. dosent make sence to me since i go fill up when im almost empty.. but it hasnt happened enough for me to take it in

had my car filled up 3 times (Cant really pump your own gas in Jersey). no problems.

Mine has always filled up without a problem up to about 14.5 or 15 gallons, and then it shuts off (every time).
But if I then squeeze the handle really slowly and turn it a little, I can always manage to get that final gallon in there.
Doesn't sound like the same problem some of you other folks have with it shutting off when 1/2 full, etc., but it can still be slightly annoying cause I like to top it off completely whenever I get gas.

I had the problem quite often until I started using the same pump at the same shell station and only filling up when at 1/8 of a tank.

I find it more prevalent at certain stations. And once you know how to get around it it's no big deal. Happens to me about once every 8-10 fill-ups.

Had my entire tank replaced to fix the problem. But I also have one of the very first 05 production ponies.. 08/04 build date.

I have never had a problem with not filling up. Sometimes after a fill up it takes a while for my car to read full on the gauge though. A week after i bought my 07 i took it for its first major road trip (driving from South Carolina to Maryland) throughout the whole ride it seemed like i was getting great gas mileage which i didnt expect. I drove about 350 miles and the gauge still read that i had a little over a quarter of a tank which i thought was a little strange. To make a long story short i ended up running out of gas. I took it to the dealer and they couldn't find anything wrong with it but since then i haven't had any problems with my stang.
